On June 19th, Christian apologists David Wood and Nabeel Qureshi of the Acts 17 Apologetics Ministry, and two other Christians, Negeen Mayel and Paul Rezkalla, were arrested for proselytizing Muslims... "Where did this arrest take place?", you might ask... "Was it in Saudi Arabia?"... "Iran, perhaps?"... No... It happened right here in the good ole USA!

As Qureshi described it:"At one point, we came across a festival volunteer who seemed to take issue with us simply being at the festival. We could tell he had a problem with us, and so we asked 'What are we doing wrong?' He said 'Put the camera and microphone down, and I'll tell you.'... So I obliged, handing the microphone to David and asking him to not record the man... About 20 minutes later, to shouts and cheers of 'Allahu Akbar!' we were all being led away from the festival in handcuffs..."

At the age of nine, Nujood Ali was forced by her Muslim parents in Yemen to marry a man in his thirties. On April 2, 2008, after repeated beatings by her husband's parents and frequently being raped by her husband for the two months subsequent to the arranged marriage, she escaped from her "prison home" and sought after a divorce, which was thankfully granted to her by a Yemeni judge, even though there is no minimum age requirement for marriage in Yemen. You can read more about this brave young girl's story in the book she wrote with Delphine Minoui: "I am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced".

"Many sectarian Muslims, such as Sunnis, Shiites, Ahmadiyya, etc., Arabs included, read the Qur'aan but few really stop to see what it means. Even fewer really follow the Qur'aan. When discussing their "religion" very few Muslims quote any verses from the Qur'aan.

"It is a fact that nothing the Muslim does in his or her practice of the "religion" can be traced exactly back to the Qur'aan, not one thing. Rituals such as the Shahadatain, the five daily prayers, fasting, pilgrimage, zakat, hijab, etc., do not follow exactly what is written in the Qur'aan, but have their origins in sources other than the Qur'aan.

"The Qur'aan condemns them for their actions by stating:

" 'And when it is said to them, Come to that which Allah has revealed (Al-Qur'aan) and to the Messenger, they say: Sufficient for us is that wherein we found our fathers. What! even though their fathers knew nothing and had no guidance!' (Q.5:104)

"The question then becomes: what is the purpose of the Qur'aan in the life of a practicing Muslim?..."

HAMZA ABDUL MALIK was raised as a Christian and reverted to Islam in 1970. He has committed himself to the study of Comparative Religion for the past 35 years. Mr. Malik has a special interest in New Testament theology and the historical Jesus, his person and his mission. In 1988, Mr. Malik was co-instructor of an international Da'wah Course sponsored by the International Propagation Center, Inc. (IPCI) of Durban. Mr. Malik is a skilled debater and has engaged in Christian-Muslim dialogue and debates in many cities in the United States and abroad. He has conducted numerous lectures and seminars on the study of Comparative Religion as a tool for Da'wah.

DAVID WOOD, an Evangelical Christian apologist specializing in refuting the claims of ISLAM & defending the Christian Scriptures in theological debate with Muslim apologists, will address the theme: "MUSLIMS & MORALITY."

Muslims often have an outward appearance of being even more God-fearing, reverent, dedicated, disciplined and morally pure than the most devout Evangelicals. They have a strict code of ethics regarding abstinence from alcohol and a prohibition of sexual imagery in art, music and entertainment. They go to great lengths to dress modestly, and this is especially true of Muslim women. They are a people devoted to prayer and fasting, and are encouraged by their clerics to lead healthy, active lives with the qualities of kindness, chastity, honesty, mercy, courage, patience and politeness. Muslims profess to have the perfect and complete code for the guidance of individuals and communities alike.

Having said that, however, our guest today, David Wood, will reveal shocking and disturbing information, documented by sources considered to be sacred, irrefutable and impeccable by most Fundamentalist Muslims, regarding the Islamic advocacy of such atrocities as consummated marriages with prepubescent girls (Mohamed married a six-year-old girl and consummated the marriage when she was nine, and his example is still followed today), the Iatola Komani of Iran's grotesque declaration of sexual gratification that can be derived from infants, the validation of raping women (even in the presence of their husbands) who are slaves and captives during times of war, the unquestioned permission of Muslim husbands to punish their wives through physical brutality, the execution of Muslim women who are innocent victims of rape if they are incapable of producing proof of their innocence deemed to be adequate by authorities, and other horrific facts rarely exposed in the media.

David will also demonstrate the clear, stark contrast between the carnal and lustful motives of devout Muslim men to enter an afterlife with 70+ virgins awaiting to gratify them sexually for eternity, and the 180-degree opposite motive of faithful Christians to worship Christ in a sexless Heaven for eternity.
