.
MP3 Available Here

MARTY FROMM, ministry leader of Beth Yeshua on Long Island, NY, a fellowship of Jews and Gentiles who together worship the one true Messiah, Jesus Christ, will address the theme: "Jews With No Temple: Where is Their Sacrifice? Where is Their Hope? (Christ Our Passover)"

Marty is also the author of FOR UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN: A Closer Look at the Biblical Foundation for the Messiaship of Jesus and A JOURNEY INTO FAITH: The Schlepp from Moses to Jesus. Marty was raised in a Jewish home in a very anti-Semitic neighborhood in the Bronx, NY, where as a child he was regularly mocked and beaten for being a Jew. Growing up to hate the name of Jesus Christ even in adulthood because of the false perception he had of what "Christianity" was and who "Christians" were, Marty eventually came to fall in love with the One he once hated after joining his wife at a weekly Bible study led by a Jewish believer in Christ, and embraced Him as his Messiah.

MARTIN FROMM: "SHAVUOS: A PICTURE of GOD's REDEMPTION OF JEW & GENTILE ALIKE"

MARTY FROMM, ministry leader of Beth Yeshua on Long Island, NY, a fellowship of Jews and Gentiles who together worship the one true Messiah, Jesus Christ, will address the theme: "SHAVUOS: A PICTURE of GOD's REDEMPTION OF JEW & GENTILE ALIKE."

Shavuos (also Shavuot) is the second of the three major Jewish festivals (Passover being the first and Sukkot the third) and comes exactly 50 days after Passover. It marks the giving of the Torah by God to the entire Jewish people on Mount Sinai 3320 years ago. Jews will celebrate Shavuos this year on the sunset of Thursday, the 28th of May, through Saturday day, the 30th.

In Hebrew, the word "Shavuos" means "weeks" and stands for the seven weeks during which the Jewish people prepared themselves for the giving of the Torah. During these seven weeks the Jewish people were cleansed of the scars of Egyptian slavery and became a holy nation. Today, Marty will demonstrate how a beautiful picture of the atoning work of Christ on Calvary for both the Jew and the Gentile can be found in this festival.
