Pastor Richard Kuiken, Senior Pastor of the Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church in Pompton Plains New Jersey, preaches the sermon: "Worship Wars Part One- The Participants in Worship"

Brief Sermon Overview: Even though in the midst of our modern-day "Worship Wars" there are many who are seeking to "market the Church" with the Gospel as their "product" and prospective worshipers as the "consumer", both the context of the giving of God's Law at Mt. Sinai as well as our text in Hebrews 12 teach us in no uncertain terms that when we come to worship we are to be gathered as a Holy People in a Holy Place with Holy Partners.

Pastor Kuiken graduated from The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY in 1977 with a B.A. Degree in Psychology and subsequently received his M. Div. Degree from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan in May of 1983. He has served as a part-time and a full-time Staff Member for Metropolitan Youth for Christ/Campus Life under the direction of Mr. Ron Hutchcraft and as a Youth Pastor of the Central Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan during his years of seminary. He has served as the Senior Pastor of the Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church since 1983.
