TEDD TRIPP: CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: Its Importance in Shepherding a Child's Heart

TEDD TRIPP, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Hazelton, PA, and author of "Shepherding a Child's Heart" and the recently published companion book "Instructing a Child's Heart", which he wrote with his wife Margy, will address the theme: "CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: Its Importance in Shepherding a Child's Heart".

"Shepherding a Child's Heart" is about how to speak to the heart of your child. Bringing deep biblical principals to the task of parenting and concentrating on what is going on inside a child rather than just their outside behavior. "Instructing a Child's Heart" is essential to "Shepherding a Child's Heart". Children interpret their experiences from a worldview that seeks to answer their fundamental questions: Who am I? What do I exist for? Where can I find joy? The instruction you provide for them not only informs their minds; it persuades their hearts of the wisdom and truth of God's ways.

Tedd & Margy Tripp have three adult children and seven grand-children. Tedd is a graduate of Geneva College, BA in History, Philadelphia Theological Seminary, M Div, and Westminster Theological Seminary, D Min with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling. Tedd and Margy founded Immanuel Christian School in 1979 where Tedd has served as a teacher and administrator. Tedd and Margy still serve on the board of ICS. Since 1994, Tedd has maintained an extensive ministry as a conference speaker and presenter of Shepherding a Child's Heart seminars.
