DR. STEVEN TSOUKALAS, Assistant Professor of Apologetics and Christian Thought at Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi and the author of seven books and articles for popular and academic journals, will address the theme of his book: "CHRISTIAN FAITH 101: The Basics and Beyond" (click here for details: Judson Press).
Today's broadcast is intended to help laypersons and new believers learn the basics of Christian theology, or why we believe what we believe. Dr. Steven Tsoukalas will explain the basic theological doctrines of the Christian faith and explore their relevance in simple and plain language. His excellent book, "Christian Faith 101", makes theology more accessible to young people, new Christians, and Sunday school and small-group study participants. Dr. Tsoukalas received his Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Birmingham [England], his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Master of Theology in Religions of the World from Harvard University Divinity School. He is also the Executive Director and Senior Research Consultant for Sound Doctrine Ministries. In addition to the book we are addressing today, he is the author of such notable works as "Masonic Rites and Wrongs" (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Co., 1995), "Knowing Christ in the Challenge of Heresy" (University Press of America, 1999), and "The Nation of Islam: Understanding the Black Muslims" (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Co., 2001).
