DR. SAM WILSON & PASTOR CHRIS WILEY:"FROM MAN's FREE WILL to GOD's FREE GRACE: The Journey of Two Arminian Pastors into Calvinism"

MP3 Available Here

DR. SAM WILSON and PASTOR CHRIS WILEY, two former pastors in the Church of the Nazarene denomination , will address the theme: "FROM MAN's FREE WILL to GOD's FREE GRACE: The Journey of Two Arminian Pastors into Calvinism."

Dr. Sam Wilson, who in addition to being a Physician practicing Family/Internal Medicine in New York City, pastored Nazarene congregations between 1977 & 1997, which included the planting of the first and only African-American Nazarene Church in Kentucky.

Pastor Chris Wiley was an ordained Nazarene pastor and urban missionary for 20 years, in addition to being a published author, and an adjunct professor of philosophy at Eastern Nazarene College in the Boston area.

Today both men will describe how they entered a journey from their Arminian/Wesleyan roots into the Doctrines of God's Sovereign Grace, which have been nicknamed "Reformed" and "Calvinist" theology.

Today, both Dr. Wilson and Pastor Wiley, according to their adopted faith in the biblical Gospel of the Reformation, continue to passionately teach, preach and proclaim that God alone saves sinners, because sinners cannot even help save themselves.

Dr. Sam Wilson is a member of North Shore Baptist Church, a Sovereign Grace-believing congregation in Bayside, Queens, NY, where he regularly assists the pastors with his preaching and teaching skills, and Pastor Chris Wiley is the newly installed pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Manchester (PCA), in Manchester, Connecticut.

This interview is not in any way intended to cast derision upon the Church of the Nazarene denomination and the many faithful ministers of the Gospel and brethren in Christ who are members there, but is intended to reflect the theological journey of two pastors formerly within that denomination who now adhere to the doctrinal tenants of the Reformed Faith, and the unique challenges they faced and continue to confront as a result of their theological transformation.
