HWAEN CH'UQI: SURVIVOR OF AN INCA INDIAN SACRIFICE!

MP3 Available Here

Listen to what could be one of the most utterly fascinating testimonies you have ever heard in your life!

Hwaen Ch'uqi is an Inca Indian from the jungles of Peru. When Hwaen was 2 years old, his parents attempted to sacrifice him to the Inca sun god Inti. This involved the 2 year-old lying in his mother's lap while she held him tightly, and his father repeatedly striking him in the head with a hammer. Hwaen's mother's conscious got the better of her and before her husband's hammer blows were able to end the young boy's life she got up and ran through the jungle still clutching the child in her arms and eventually made it to a hospital where she left her son, never to see him again. The treatment Hwaen received at the hospital was able to save his life, but tragically the beating to his skull left him permanently blind. Hwaen, at 34 years of age, is still totally blind, but obviously his lack of sight did not prevent him from becoming a remarkably gifted concert pianist. During this radio interview you will also learn how he was eventually adopted by American parents, discovered a love of music, took piano lessons and now travels the globe dazzling audiences with his breathtaking gift. You will also learn how his soul was rescued by our merciful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a young man, and how he embraced the Doctrines of God's Sovereign Grace! Today, Hwaen is a member of Memorial Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY.

You can watch two video clips featuring Hwaen's artistry from a classic piano competition in Russia he very recently participated in by clicking on these links:
