During this very controversial discussion, Dr. Cameron will demonstrate that the Black church at large is heavily permeated by matriarchal leadership, a social gospel and heretical theology, and will challenge his African-American brothers and sisters in Christ to reevaluate their current positions and to become transformed according to the Scriptures.

Dr. Cameron is author of The Last Pew on the Left: America's Lost Potential. The title of Dr. Cameron’s book reflects upon his experiences as an African-American growing up in the Roman Catholic Church in the South, where his family had to sit in the last pew on the left. That insured they were the last ones to receive the chalice of the Mass (after all the white parishioners had partaken). Since then Bob has experienced racism in the military, industry and even running his own trucking business.

After he was converted to Christ in the early 70s (at more than 40 years of age), he was surprised to find the same problem in just about every church—black or white. He sold his business and used the profits to finance his seminary education. After seminary he was the founding pastor of Mt. Carmel Church in Somerset, NJ, which is now and always has been integrated—first as a Reformed Episcopal and later as a Presbyterian fellowship. Dr. Cameron also sits on the Board of Greenville Theological Seminary, and is part of the faculty at the New York School of the Bible.

Back in August of 2007, John discovered, after a year-and-a-half of visiting five different doctors due to a persistent mild sore throat, ear discomfort, and a metallic taste on the left side of his tongue, that he had a T3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The treatments began in September, 2007, which involved 42 radiation sessions and weekly Erbitux injections. The side effects included severe acne of the face, neck, chest and scalp, as well as inside the nose, mouth and ears. Other side effects included nausea, frequent vomiting, severe constipation, mouth sores and dry mouth due to loss of saliva function which combined to cause an inability to eat solid food. John has also lost his sense of taste. John will demonstrate how his emotions began as despair and fear and ended in optimism and thankfulness to God, and why he believes this trial was a gift from a loving Father that has transformed him into a better man and servant of Christ. John is also the author of The Gospel For Children now in it's third printing and available in English, French and Portuguese. The book chronicles Brian's year long deployment to Iraq, May 2005-May 2006, during which he truly walked through the valley of the shadow of death on numerous occasions. From a human perspective, Brian should have died several times, but God's mercy and grace were wonderfully displayed towards him. This book demonstrates the personal struggles and challenges that Brian faced as a Christian soldier, dealing with the loss of friends, the prospects of his own death, and the pain of having to kill the enemy.
